lonelybritIt's an old interview from Filter magazine, but it's new to me. The highlight being where all four band members recall the craziest things they got up to as kids.
Alex - blew up his hand with a bullet in Greece. No scars though.
Paul - kicked a display in a DIY store when he was six, only to be terrified when 'PAUL!' rang out over the loudspeaker system.
Nick -is insane. His tale from when he was 15 involves magic mushrooms, a car crash, a scar, and someone dying three weeks later.
Bob - er, found out that if you wear blue jeans on that blue screen fly-by thing at the Film Musueum, then you appear to have no legs.
It's also interesting to hear why each used to consider himself an 'outsider'. One of Alex's primary teachers used to make him read aloud so she could ridicule his accent. Paul got caught between Glasgow and Edingburgh. Bob apparently was always the working-class kid in a posh school, and Nick was the English kid in Germany or the German bloke in Britain. *pets them* Awwww.
