I personally have never really paid much attention to football. However, recently I've learned to take a healthy interest in what is actually happening when people start screeching: 'Noooo! Foul!'

Why?

I live with a lovely family in London. And all three members are Arsnal fans through and through. So the fact that the team just got knocked out of their latest match means the whole house has just been plunged into deep dark depression. Again.

So, thank heavens for october_fay, who has just done the loveliest and silliest Wes vid I've seen in quite a while. Plus, it ends with a classic line. (I so need to find an icon of that look along with the appropriate caption.) :)

Arsenal fans have no right to complain. They are still first place in Premiere League, aren't they? The people at your house should try cheering for a team like Hannover 96. Always in danger of getting down one devision. Except for the times they are in second devision. You really have to suffer with such a club.

Yep, amid the moans I did pick up mutterings of there being still one chance left. Not too clear as to what, I don't follow these things very closely beyond knowing whether or not they won/lost. Football isn't my thing.

I did. She even thanked me at the end for stalking her the last few days. And she wants more. Either I'm a really good stalker or she is just sick. Who cares, as long as we get nice Wes vids out of it.

And I could help you out with the football if you need me to. I live for that. Even though I didn't watch tonights game. It was only on pay tv and Arsenal and Chelsea aren't worth paying for. ;) But they could still win the away game. And I'll stop boring you to death here.

Ewww Football! I hate that sport. The entire nation goes crazy when our team is getting...somewhere. I, on the other hand, am always cheering when they get kicked out early. Means I don't have to suffer trough months of football.

LOL. Yes, normally I'm right there with you. But when the people you rely on for bed and board are football fans, you learn to compromise just a little. Call it survival instinct :)
