*deep breath*
I mean, sorry, but W T F?! All right. You want my honest opnion?
If it was a skate-off between John Barrowman and Stefan whatshisname... I would pick Stefan. Because he has had less experience in dancing in general than JB, thus he has shown the most improvement, and so he has the most potential.
So in that sense I agree with the judges. The right man was saved.
My problem is that this skate-off should have happened a lot later in the competition. Much as I may admire and like them, Kelly and that bloke from Coronation Street should have been out of the contest before a skate-off such as this week's occurred.
Bah.
John. You definitely were not going to win this competition, but you should have been around for a good few weeks yet. I will miss you... *sniffle*

Date: 2006-02-04 06:40 pm (UTC)But grrrr aarrrgh. Should have been Kelly. John made Saturday nights fun again for me. All that lovely innunedo lost now.
But I think the judges were right. John was clearly suffering from nerves after last week's fall and didn't do himself justice tonight. *wails*

Date: 2006-02-05 04:41 am (UTC)At least John and Stefan like each other enough to both genuinely want the other to do well. And yes, Stefan looked like he was in tears over it all, and when John hugged him...
*sigh* I am going to hell in a handbasket. But I am so glad that I wasn't the only person to see the slash, LOL! One of my new wishes is to see John and Stefan dancing together on ice. It would be fun and so sooo lovely.

Date: 2006-02-04 11:24 pm (UTC)I was very upset when they picked John to go. I know I'm feeling vulnerable atm and so it's silly, but I almost cried.
*sniffs again*

Date: 2006-02-05 04:46 am (UTC)A few hours later and when the film we were watching finished, I was *still* going 'I can't believe they let John Barrowman go!'
As my pal pointed out, it's because not enough people know who John is. THe whole world knows Kelly Holmes, the watcher of Coronation Street could inhabit a new planet, and Casualty/Holby are equally popular. Not everyone watched the second half of Doctor Who, and even if they did, they might not recognise John as being the same bloke who played Jack.
Bah. Bah!
And poor John... I have to admit the last time I watched him I was slightly annoyed with him as he almost seemed to have too much confidence. But this week.... oh *pets him* He really did look like he'd had the stuffing knocked out of him. I never thought I'd see Barrowman looking nervous. *squishes him* Poor woobie... *sniffle*

Date: 2006-02-05 04:54 am (UTC)The viewer are idiots, but still they have spoken.
I might email anyway, though. It was oddly distressing to see Barrowman so uncertain, he usually has confidence oozing out his ears. *hugs him*
