Reasons to rejoice.

1. eloise_bright kept me up with discussion of the most rabid, wonderfully fun bunny. One word: BOBLET!

2. The oddity that is Alex Kapranos. Look at this. My father wore that jumper. Apparently at a recent Arctic Monkeys gig, there were some backstage guests. From left to right: Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys, Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand, and Julian Casablancas of The Strokes. That's quite a huddle...

3. The wonderful sense of fun of the girlfriend of Alex Kapranos, who happily takes and shares photos whenever she feels like it, which can then result in a (worksafe) picure of poor Alex in the shower. Apparently he likes to retreat there when on tour and he feels the need for general quiet, solitude and isolation. *snort*

Are you sure that was an Arctic Monkeys gig and not the recent not-so-secret Strokes gig? Just because apparently Alex and Bob were at that, and I'm kinda surprised if they all got together again. *ponders*

Apparently it was the Strokes night off, so off they toddled to the Arctic Monkeys' gig? FF happened to turn up as well. I'm not absolutely certain as I get easily lost in tour dates, LOL!

Heh, I have to admit, part of the fun of the shower pic was watching the whole of slacken_ties just implode over it. *cough*ofcourseIwasutterlycalm*cough* I think my three favourite reactions were:

I think I'm obviously missing out having taken slacken_ties off my flist. Do they still post annoying MSPaint drawings of the band at every increasing frequency though? That's what made me defriend in the first place :)

Yes. *snarl* I think there've been three sets of South Park Franz Ferdinand pics since I've joined. Lord knows how many MSPaint jobs in general. Though until a few days ago it was getting quite quiet, with only actual news/pics/fics. Maybe I should be doing a weekly sum-up of the slacken_ties, I can see the caption now; Update: reading the whole damn lot so you don't have to, LOL!

Heh. I was in the middle of an MSN chat with Eloise and promptly went off tangent with an: 'OMG ALEX IN TEH SHOWER'. A phrase that randomly kept on being dropped apropo nothing throughout the rest of our convo. Poor Eloise.
