Yes yes, okay I admit it; I have definitely picked up a new obsession. Though it has not escaped me that this has cropped up as my report deadline looms. The joys of distraction.

Oh to be a 'rock star'. The drinks, the parties, the adoring fans. And apparently, if you're Kapranos, writing your weekly 'Soundbite' for the food review section of The Guardian newspaper. I found his tale of how, when 19, he lost his job as a wine waiter rather amusing endearing. Poor lad...

Someone at my work is selling 2 tickets to see Franz Ferdinand in concert at the Alexandra Palace, London on Friday 2nd December (£30 each) - are you interested?

I'm afraid I'm kind of broke at the moment, plus after Swan Lake and Otherwise Engaged, I also can't really afford to miss another half-day of labs.

*sniffle* I will go and mourn in front of the tele now...
