Well, thank heavens for slash and LJ, that's all I can say. Today was pretty frustrating, at one point leaving the entire class stranded in the rain, half an hour from uni, thanks to a timetable 'mix-up'. As the sun set, we duly headed for the pub. And from then on out, as the water puddled at our feet, it got oddly very much better.

To begin they played the video to Michael as soon as we sat down. it's amazing what watching a man singing lustfully for another man will do to raise ones spirits.

My full return to slashy shallow happiness was completed upon my return to the house. Last night evil_demandred helped me find a bunch of Crane vids, and a quick rewatch of the deliciously evil and psychotic Cillian Murphy did much to help my recovery. Another revisit to wayne_crane threw up the cast interviews to the video game of Batman Begins. There was more pretty Murphy, as well a great moment of Bale bellowing "TELL ME ABOUT THE RABBITS!" in his full bad-ass Batman voice.

My other new love, i.e. Franz Ferdinand, also lent a helping hand. A quick perusal of some user pics at slacken_ties drew a smile, as well as making an inhaler seem suddenly quite teh hotness:

It also helped reinforce elementalv's point of why black is a good choice when it comes to tight trousers, (more specifically when you're Alex Kapranos).

However, full slashy health was returned when joy of unending joys, versaphile wrote hot Angelus/Vamp!Wes. You have Wes. You have Angelus. You have leather. What more could be needed to convince a gal that the world is a good and happy and fluffy place? =)

They are cetainly images that stick in the mind for a while, a problem when later your friends ask you what you're giggling at and you have to say the dreaded 'Oh, I was just remembering something...' :)
