Yes, that would be Wesley and Alexis Denisof. (Shaddup!)

Valmont - well, obviously.
Iago (sic) in 'Othello' - actually suggesting this cos I saw the film 'O'. Adored Hartnett's performance, there were Daddy issues, unappreciated brilliance, and a very cold-hearted and clever scheme at revenge. I'd love to see AD get to do dark.
The Piano Tuner - read Daniel Mason's 'The Piano Tuner' and you will get why I say this!
A spook - not sure why, but it'd be fun to see him having some fun on some quality TV popcorn, like 'Spooks'.
Vamp!Wes - oh come on, it'd be brilliant TV. Imagine if he went up against Angel...
The Doctor - lovable, quirky, actually quite smart. It'd be fun!
Lupin - yes, the dude from the Potter books. The quiet, nice, slightly tatty, slightly tired looking one. AD would make our hearts bleed I'm sure of it.
Percy Blakeney (sic) - they seek him here, they seek him there... The costumes, the fights, the sea. Oh yes. :)
MacDuff in 'MacBeth' - torn between saying MacBeth too. But MacDuff has this great scene where they have to tell him of the deaths of his family. And then he gets to get all angry and coldly tell Macbeth that actually, no, technically he was not of a woman born. It could be one hell of a scene!
A completely OTT, utterly evil villain - because every actor should have the chance to be a complete and utter, unrepentant, bad-ass :)

*sigh* Yes, a golden age is on the horizon... Said horizon is still some way off (hopefully graduate next year), but still, it's a comfort to know it's there. One can never start making plans too early.

Ah, yes, plans for world domination - always good to get those started as early as possible. I finally got round to buying the Piano Tuner, and have made a start - loved the prologue thingy - gorgeous descriptive writing, all dreamy and floaty and conjuring up the heat of Burma. Can see why you like it... will read more tonight after working on a fic pressie for KJ, as she's not very well.

I look forward to hearing what you make of the book. I think I came to the end with a mild crush on the main character, can't think why....

Hmm. And which book would that be? Tell me its name and I'll have a look at it next time I'm in Waterstones.

And hell yes. A cold, smart, and slightly psychotic Vamp!Wes would definitely give Angel a run for his money. Hell, human Wes managed to freak Faith out a little bit, and this is a girl who last time thought him as scary as an enraged dormouse. He's got it in him to be one very very nasty piece of work.

Is it wrong that that's part of the reason I like the character so much?

Yep, I think he'd have done a good job. We already know he can do the adorable sweet, bumbly English guy things perfectly. Add a few quirks, a handknitted scarf, and of course a Tardis, and voila!
