And lo! There is sun!

So today the gods smiled on me, and we actually saw sun. The sky was almost blue rather than smoggy choking grey. Yay! It´s all gone now of course and we´re back to smog, but still, it lifted the spirits.

In other news, I saw Batman Begins. Which I liked, so very much. Cillian Murphy? Oh yeah, he kinda rocked. Liam Neeson was lovely as always. Christian Bale made a decent batman. And they even had a cameo from the wickedly fun Satan/David Bedella, which had me giving a happy squeak of surprise.

Oh, and they have Inca Kola here. 100% artificial, yellow and with a tendency to glow, but utterly addictive. I´m bringing a bottle home with me =)

Would you believe they don´t sell llamas on the street here? I know, the standards have dropped something shocking. They were selling alpaca meat at the local superstore, but it wasn´t quite what I was after...

bah! Here, we have free roaming haggis free roaming in the streets, just for people who come here and have always wanted a pet haggis!

I don't know what alpaca meat is, and I don't wanna, I fear it would make me terribly sad. :(

Liam Neeson comes from my hometown!! He used to act in our local Amdram - sadly never got to see him as I was but a weeny babe.

The yellow cola sounds utterly foul. But then I'm not fond of the brown stuff, so the odds weren't good.

Tis mightily hot here, I took the ironing out onto the deck, so I could sunbathe and yet do household chores. *polishes halo*

They have pisco sours here too, did I mention them? Great alcoholic drink that even Dad can´t have more than one of. *grin*
