Farewell, good weekend
Feb. 14th, 2005 12:19 amSo, it kicked off with me,
princess_s and a few friends tootling off to watch Jerry Springer: The Opera. It was very, very fun - even if unfortunately the usual Satan was 'indisposed'. His understudy did a sterling job though. After the show, I staggered back home in the early hours and promptly slept till almost midday Saturday. And at midday itself,
princess_s came over and we lunched, dined and watched a mixture of Angel and Jeeves and Wooster. (The latter, incidentally, being the source of the quote and copious 'You have to put that line in a fic!' moments.)
And, my God. I almost died laughing at that deleted ballet scene from Waiting in the Wings!!
Another friend then joined the fun, and she and I wound up watching the *entire* two seasons of the UK Queer As Folk until the next morning. Four DVDs we got though. Christ, we were knackered by the end. But the series was very good, though. Shame there wasn't more.
And then today was the usual cleaning and tidying of the house. All in all, a good weekend's worth. **goes off to sleep**
