I love my Mum. Do not ever doubt that. And I think the feeling goes both ways. That said, she has vowed on the name of her family that if I should ever, ever bring another Angel or Buffy the Vampire Slayer video/DVD boxset through her front door, I will be disowned at once and without question.
So what did I do a few hours ago?
Ordered Angel Season 3 on Amazon because it was less than £26. Of course, I only fully remembered this after the two glasses of wine, two rum and cokes and three glasses of champagne that followed not long after.
Oops?
ETA: Quick 100 word Wes/Knox drabble done for
kallysten's 2005 drabbles by 2005 thingie.
Post Not Fade Away.
Wes tells himself, it’s simply for the hell of it. An appropriate expression, considering.
“I loved her as much as you did.”
“Meaning you really didn’t love her at all.”
“Yeah,” Knox muses, “Odd that.”
To quote Gunn; word. But death gives a wonderful perspective. Making him realise that he loved only an ideal drilled into him since childhood.
“Poor Fred,” says Knox quietly.
Wes brings his hand up to twine into that soft hair in a painful grasp. But somehow it turns into a caress and when those lips meet his own he responds in kind. Yes. Odd that.

Date: 2005-01-01 03:45 pm (UTC)Heh, and of course, it goes without saying that Wes and Angel/Wes are the characters and ships closest to my heart. Even if I occasionally gush about Knox or tea or Nathan, it can be taken as read that at best they will always come second to Wes *nods*

Date: 2005-01-01 02:55 am (UTC)I love the drabble. I was thinking of you when I requested it. But you surpassed yourself. Made this totally and utterly believable.

What a wonderful line.
Happy New Year!
