I'm busy. Wow.
Oct. 8th, 2004 01:02 amOkay, first off, I've only just read the third episode of
ats_nolimits. Unsurprisingly my head is a little jazzy right now, so do not expect much sense out of me. Suffice to say... Squee. Ahem. :)
First two days at work have gone well. Slightly scary in the amount of stuff I need to remember, and bloody freezing out by the front desk where all the doors have to be kept open. There's one itty-bitty little heater which we all huddle around. We make quite a pathetic sight really.
Of course, my brain has helpfully picked up on the faint hint of stress and is now poking various muse bunnies back to life. Unhelpfully the Wes/Giles one still seems to be out to pasture somewhere... **tries to tempt it back with carrots**
I am now rereading an old copy of Robin Hood. Just because I can and it was cheap at the local outlet bookstore.
Ooh, and I learnt a new word that I've already forgotten, but it was long, had an 's' in it, and meant having memories associated/triggered by certain smells. I think...

And you have a brain like a sieve. Synaesthesia: the production of a mental sense-impression relating to one sense by the stimulation of another sense.
- a sensation produced in a part of the body by stimulation of another part.
*hugs you again for good measure*

Date: 2004-10-07 05:25 pm (UTC)I have to admit, I do rather like this most recent bunny. It was hopping about my feet all day long and wouldn't stop nibbling at my ankles. Certain scenes are already trying to make themselves written. Which would be fine if I could think of a plot to go behind them... LOL!
**huggles you back**

Date: 2004-10-08 10:10 am (UTC)I did love Ashbury too, or to be specific, I loved his entry. Slim build, brown hair, the glint of glasses... Poor Angel.

Date: 2004-10-08 10:13 am (UTC)Oh thank you :)
I think if it had been any other other writers then I would have been worried. But whenever it seemed like AI were adjusting too well to being Wesley-less, I'd just remind myself that people like The Brat Queen and Wolfing were behind it all. And I just about trust them when it comes to Wes.... LOL!
