I'm torn...
Oct. 2nd, 2004 04:09 amWell, rephrase that. Actually I have a horrible feeling I'm getting the annual autumn cold virus. Oh joy. *sneezes*
Anyway, new update for Quortoth. In addition to the lady who plays Senator Buckley, and of course Andy Hallet, it seems the third (out of six guests) will be... Sarah Thompson. Aka Eve. She did seem a lovely lady at the last convention, genuinely chuffed to be be on AtS. But still.... feeling a little underwhelmed so far. Ah well, still three to go. And so far we do at least have one hell of a party-maker, and someone who seems pleased to be meeting fans rather than bored or terrified beyond all reason, LOL.
However, I'm finding it hard to think too much on this. Just watched some concert in name of Fair Trade on TV. Missed the full explanation, but I think it was somehow organised by Oxfam and, possibly, Coldplay? Anyway, the last group on stage was R.E.M. Very, very cool! And their last song was 'Man On The Moon', and for the last verse the lead singer of Coldplay suddenly appeared unannounced to sing a verse and a chorus with them. Crowd went even more wild, and I squeed :)

Date: 2004-10-01 08:55 pm (UTC)It was just great watching them sing 'If you believe they put a man on the moon' to Lord knows how many bouncing fans. And then to see Chris Martin walk on and sing a verse by himself and then sing several choruses with REM themselves... **fangirlSQUEEEEE**
Great moment :)
