Older, working on the wiser part...
Oct. 23rd, 2016 09:45 pmThus another 365-day milestone passes. It's been a good one :)
Football-wise, probably the less said about 'my' team the better. They are very proud at having "one of the best goalkeepers in the world" on their payroll. That fact that thus far his most memorable moment has been managing somehow to kick the ball into his own face says it all really.
Cinema-wise, a group of us went along to see Miss Perregrin's School... at our local. It looked gorgeous but dear lord it did NOT need to be over 2-hours long. My main takeaway point was that the folks in charge of casting kid!/adult!Mordred on Merlin knew their stuff, because at times the similarity between Alex Vlahos and now-grown-up-Asa Butterfield was uncanny (I think it's the eyes)...
TV-wise - I recently inhaled season 1 of Lucifer. I suspected I would love it and my suspicions proved to be well founded. Angels - check. Demons - check. Unimpressed humanity - check. Both sides occasionally proving a bit useless at remembering which side they're meant to be on - check. Bring on Season 2 :)
I'm currently working my way through Luke Cage (oh what a soundtrack) and stockpiling Agents of SHIELD/Supernatural for the inevitable mini-hiatus dry spell. So for now I have plenty to be looking forward to - huzzah!

And I also approve of Lucifer. It was fun and I am looking forward to next season as well.
