So I am on episode 12 of 13. I will save the actual finale for later this week. In general - oh, I love this show and its casting of all the characters is just superb.

HOWEVER.

Once. Just bloody once. Please could the character I finally fix upon as one of my favourites please just not die.

As I say, the casting is superb, so it is a bit harsh to say I have a 'favourite' given that I genuinely do love all the characters and their stories (or mysterious lack of clear backstory) thus far.

It's just, well, James Wesley. Even back in the days of the Affleck film, the utter loyalty between him and Kingpin intrigued me. I still have so many questions. I will miss him.

I felt the same way about Ben Urich, he quickly became my favorite, cause no matter how much I loved Matt, and Foggy and Karen and Claire, there was something about Ben that spoke to me. It broke my heart when Fisk killed him.

Yeah, Ulrich was brilliant, I was very fond of him and he was my workmate's absolute favourite. We were having a discussion about the show, I'd just seen ep 10, my workmate had already seen ep 11 but bless him managed to keep a perfect poker face when we got on to talking about how we had finally decided who our favourite characters were. Next day I came in having finally seen the ep of doom and we both just greeted each other with "I'm so sorry."

Still, at least someone shared/understood my pain :)
