lonelybritSo, I am alive. Yet again I have survived another work deadline of d00m and am trying to adjust to suddenly having time again for a potential social life.
Obviously the main thing is that, yes, we have our tickets booked for the opening night of Avengers 2 - huzzah! It's amazing the difference a few years/films make. Back in early days of Thor I was the lone voice poking people about a new Marvel flick. Today, I'm the one being swept along in the stampede to book tickets. Excellent stuff :)
Due to various shows ending/going on hiatus I've started watching S1 of Elementary and, no surprise, I absolutely love it. It definitely is its own beast but somehow still feels true in the best way to the original show/books.
Vikings on the other hand. F**k you, Vikings. I don't even watch the dratted thing yet, though it is on the list, but as is the way when you browse Tumblr, I am of course up to date in a very vague sense, which it turned out was enough. I discovered that after all I had a heart in the show when said show decided to destroy it. Where is a cheering new ep of Galavant when you need it...
