lonelybritWell, I care not! I will still briefly flail and mibble about what is frankly Hollyoaks drama with some fabulous outfits and Maggie Smith :)
The "After all, you are the First Footman" gag did tickle me, even if it did drag on for a bit.
I will admit I'm not a fan of Miss Bunting, or to be more precise, I'm not a fan of how she's being written, the idea of her I do like, and she has her moments, and that dinner was hilariously entertaining.
And then, being the slow soul that I am, I just assumed the silver teaspoon was because on top of all the other emo-ing we have going on about the place, Thomas was about to add drug addiction to the mix. But possibly not, and I have to say if it does end up being what Tumblr and folks seem to think it is, my heart may be aching just a little bit. Oh Thomas.
I continue to feel for Edith, but as I've frequently said, adoption is my Achilles heel. Or to be more precise, when it's done on TV, it tends to be the marmite storyline for me as I always tend to take it too personally, even when it's frankly ridiculous *cough*KungFuPanda*cough*. And in this case - ach. I feel for Edith, I really do, but she's doing it all wrong and is frankly being creepy. Do what's best for the child, woman, not for you. I feel for you, Edith, but my sympathies are with your daughter right now, not you.
So, as far as shows go so far: I've yet to watch an ep of SPN. I suspect I'll wind up watching these in batches so I can skim over the filler eps. Sleepy Hollow is so-so - I love the individual characters, but frankly when I get back from work I am absolutely shattered and each ep is just that tiny bit too long for easy watching. Which leaves, steaming ahead of the pack, SHIELD. Ah my daft, colourful, wonderful show. I properly love all of your characters, and I just hope this pace keeps up for the rest of the season :)
