So I did go and see Thor: The Dark World and it's a definite thumbs up from me. My feeling is that if you loved the first Thor, odd's are you're going to really enjoy this one too. If you loved Avengers then this is a solid, fun stopgap until Avengers 2. And if frankly neither of the earlier Marvel films convinced you, then isn't going to change your mind :)
I'm staying the night with the parents who it turns out had the Ralph Fiennes version of Coriolanus recorded. So that was an entertaining evening of Shakespearean tragedy.
A question to those who've seen any version of Coriolanus: is there often the kind of tension between Coriolanus and Aufidius as there was between Fiennes and Butler? I swear I wasn't looking for it but when one of them starts comparing their meeting to seeing his wife for the first time and their hands are on each others faces, I was getting a tad distracted.
Finally. I've never yet plucked up the courage to watch Hiddleston's infamous "Loki'd" skit with MTV. They've now done a new one: Slumber Party. Is this something I can watch? (I have already seen the gif of Hiddles answering 'Yes' and promptly curling up into a ball of *facepalm* when asked if he's ever seen Hemsworth naked. Someone save that man from himself.)
