One of the best series on television this year, if not the best.

Yes I have just watched this series finale. There was honestly not a single weak link in any of the characters by the end. Oh my heart.

Apparently no solid word on if there'll be a third series. The screenwriter Abi Morgan has said she would love to do a S3, so we'll just have to see which way the BBC decides to go.

Until then, I'm going to sit here and drown in my many many feelings on that last ep...

I didn't know they'd be showing the last 2 episodes together so I got spoiled by the guardian for the last ep. Was incredibly pissed off. Have not watched it yet but episode 5 was just dsklghkdslgalshfkldshgklahfkd

Yep, I didn't realise either, I was only tipped off by a (fortunately) spoiler-free post on LJ. Have you now caught up with the finale?

And yes, episode 5 almost made me feel ill at parts because it was just too good. Randall's storyline has been brilliant, serious kudos to Capaldi. And actually Julian Rhind-Tutt unexpectedly also stole my heart somewhat this series.

I am crossing fingers and toes that they do decide to give S3 the go-ahead!
