lonelybritSo apparently that was the finale. Which I wasn't expecting, but all in all it did what it said on the tin and I am hoping we get a series 2.
Plus those wings are pretty.
OH MY GOD I WAS NOT READY FOR THAT SCENE. I don't know why I am surprised; subtext between angels and their fallen brothers is hardly a new theme, but, dude, seriously.
Also *shudders* the first time Richard broke the whatever wall and looked directly at the audience. Again, I wasn't expecting that, it's a very effective trick to pull.
Back again to all that straddling and noses-being-this-far-apart and "I miss you"s going on in the church. The one reason I hung on to my sanity was that for all it was the Big Epic Showdown between those two, the fight itself was hilariously reminiscent of the hair-pulling fiasco of Xander vs. Harmony. Maybe they need to lay off the wine for a bit to get them back into the full Wielder of the Flaming Sword frame of mind.
