So American officials have with immediate effect shut down Megaupload.com.

There's a statement over here, looks like the book is being thrown at those involved. I guess MU is not coming back any time soon, if at all.

ETA: Bwhahaha - REVENGE!! Ah hell, it won't change anything, but that did amuse me.

I must admit the hackers' revenge amused me too when I heard about what has happened (after clicking on an MU link that wouldn't load)! It is a sad day though for the future of filesharing, not all of which is illegal.
