Before you ask: NO - I have not yet seen this week's ep of Merlin. Spoil me in any way and I will hunt you down and end you *beams*

Things achieved this week:
x. Finally read Warhorse by Michael Morpurgo. It's actually surprisingly upbeat for a Morpurgo book but I suspect this is down to the subject matter being so grim to begin with. In any case it's a good book, as always tightly written and making you care so much about the characters in just a few pages.
x. Saw this week's ep of Glee. It was a good episode. It was actually at risk of being a great episode before they restored my faith in the show's cheesiness by the most horrendous song choice imaginable. In conclusion: MIKE CHANG. Oh lad, you shone this ep and you and your family utterly stole my heart. That audition piece was brilliant, I couldn't have been prouder.
x. Watched this week's Supernatural. Hmm. No strong feelings either way, I'm not deathly bored nor over-the-moon excited. Which means I'll tune in next week :) The show has possibly found me a bit character I can enjoy in a similar way I enjoyed Cas, Crowley et al. Namely the 2nd-in-Command Leviathan. He has presence, his character amuses me. It's always fun watching the higher-in-command bitchslap the minions into shape. Other thoughts include:
--> The ending. Eh, whatever. Not a nice ending but not surprising given how the show has acted in the past. Also I suspect we're meant to be thinking Dean is actually the one hiding a lot of damage after Cas went kersplat, with that final killing being a symptom of that.
--> "Everything tastes better with cheese." Truly these Leviathan have wisdom beyond our ken *nods*
--> Back to 2nd-in-Command Leviathan/Edgar. So it looks like he's delegated the task of removing the Winchesters to the minions while he carries out new instructions on behalf of this unseen 'Boss'. No real clues yet as to what this new task is (assuming there is one) but I'm glad it looks like he's around for another ep or so.
--> The Winchester aliases being known... I like that literally everything has been taken from the Winchesters including their previous ability to work anonymously. They're being hunted in ways they're not even aware of. Excellent. I'm also assuming this knowledge must have been somewhere in Cas' noggin which is how it got dealt out to the Leviathan. Which again leads me to the conclusion we haven't heard the last of Cas just yet.

And with that! ONWARDS! To iPlayer and Merlin - huzzah!
