Unclean unclean...

So me and my mate have just officially rescued a puppy. According to the dog warden it was about 9 months old and a springer spaniel. Our halos have never been so shiny.

And neither has my car been so filthy, I feel like the smell of musty wet dog will never leave me. If you will excuse me I need to go and disinfect every inch of my being.

Trust me, you wouldn't have wanted this one! Hair everywhere and the smell of wet matted dog *gags* Took me forever to get it out of my car and even the barn stank for a good few hours after he'd left.

Latest we heard was that they are assuming he was abandoned - poor thing. Though apparently he's absolutely fine and rather lovely; they're going to re-home him and have no doubt he'll have a new happier home in no time!

Doggy was on that long straight road that ends in the final T-junction before you hit the village. We spotted him because he was trotting slowing up the middle of the road, slowly because he was licking the tarmac to get the recent rainwater. It was heartbreaking really but at least he's all fixed up now :)
