Get yer sword out for the lads...
Apr. 28th, 2010 12:26 amYet another weekend has zipped passed far too quickly. There was the usual TV, namely DW (ah, I love those creepy angels), Glee (cracktastic as ever) and of course the latest SPN (the less said on that the better, that's 40 minutes of my life I'm not getting back).
But I have to say they were all surpassed by How to Train Your Dragon which I finally caught in 3D at the local fleapit. Yes you knew the ending from the opening credits, but it didn't matter. The dragons were adorable, the cast hilarious and easy to root for, and how can you not enjoy a film that takes you flying over the sea in 3D :) The film was also memorable because it was preceded by the best ad of 2010 so far - I defy you not to finish this with a smile on your face. Thank you Weetabix.
Meanwhile the pictures are continuing to trickle out from the Merlin series 3 set. Yes, none of them may quite be along the lines of TW which memorably gave us pretty men kneeling, gagged, cuffed and giggling, but considering this is a kids show I am quite happy with the pretty men blindfolded offerings.
There was also the happy tidings that Colin and Bradley had earned themselves a joint nomination for a Golden Nymph. No I am not making that up. Angel earned herself her own nomination for best actress. Go team!
And as for the title of this post, that would be a a nod to Bradley's mates. That was apparently their supportive football match-based chant, sung as he was attempting to chat to some lass at the bar. You can always rely on your mates to keep you grounded :)
