Just finished booking things. I'm definitly off to Spain then on Sunday. For three weeks. I know next to no Spanish, but hell. It'll be an experience if nothing else :)

I might possibly be a little excited. Although the first class on Monday starts at 8am in the morning, and those of you who know what hours I keep will understand why that makes me laugh just a little...

8 am UK time or Spain time? Cause if it's Spain time, you might just laugh a little harder. ;)

I hope you enjoy your trip and learn lots and lots of Spanish. And I heard there are hot guys in Spain. So have fun. Just not to much of it.

Yeah, I can't wait for my job to start next week. Stupid night time chats and all that. I used to be up at 6 am all the time before internet was brought to my house. Now I sometimes haven't even been to bed by then.

I'm sure you can manage it somehow. And I hope I will so too.

Hah! I used to actually be fluent in Spanish. Then I studied Mandarin Chinese and for some strange reason started to switch randomly between these two languages. Think it was my brain saying, no more new langs thank you, brain full!

And 8am - oh - you're in trouble. It can be done - I'm up every day at 6.45am. Nearly kills me, but it can be done!

Spanish is one of the nicest languages to learn - much easier than German or French, and there's some incredibly beautiful poetry to read - I do recommend Antonio Machado - particularly "El Limonero Languido" for a perfect evocation of Andalucia.

Enjoy the trip - hope you get a chance to sightsee and relax as well as study!

LOL! Oh, I have no idea what you just said...

I did used to have to get up at 6.15am Mon-Fri for my summer job that also started at 8am. So hopefully I'll be able to pull it off. Although there may be a few initial stumbling... LOL
