Ah Merlin

I was about to head up the wooden hill only to get distracted at the last moment by this interview with the Merlin cast.

Ah, the loveliness. ASH having a ball at getting to swan around in cloaks and be a "complete b*stard". You have Richard Wilson hoping that one day kids won't recognise him because they won't be expecting him to be bald.

But of course, it was a throwaway line from Colin Morgan (Merlin) that made me fluff up with geeky happiness. He was talking about the similarities between himself and Merlin, namely how they'll both give 100% to whatever challenges come their way. For example...

"During filming I was asked to do some pretty outrageous stuff. Last week, for instance, I had to run full pelt into a freezing cold lake to rescue Arthur in the rain."

Dear god but the fanfic is writing itself already. Oh show, you lovable, good-natured thing *pets*

Right, and now it really is late and I must work again tomorrow. Bah! Goodnight, world.

OMG. Seriously, if he ends up having to give Arthur the kiss of life I'm going to hold the BBC solely responsible for the devastation of my underbracket! Oh great big absurdly slashable nonsense show! Thanks for that link, a charming set of interviews that have done precisely minus any good to my plot-bunny-stomping campaign. Thank God SJA is proving to be very inspirational...

If that happens I think my resulting LJ post will probably comprise of a few keyboard mashes, an abuse of fonts, and absolute zilch coherence!

Next week's episode is looking awesome, and if that described scene is in that same ep I may just melt on the spot. Oh I love having something to look forward to on a Saturday night! :)
