Work today was mildly pants, nothing much happened but the 'To Do' list somehow refused to get any shorter *pokes it*

Come home though and things suddenly got a lot cheerier. For one thing - I HAD MAIL! *beams* I now have in my possession a shiny new CD (I think it's yours, Ez) and my Hub ticket. Well, when I say ticket I mean letter that confirmed I'm booked, gave me my number and an A4 side of con rules of etiquette.

And if that weren't enough, in a few hours it's another episode of Lost in Austen - huzzah! I genuinely was ready to throttle Darcy by the end of last week's but the constant giggles kept stopping me. I have fond expectations for tonight's instalment.

Hey, don't knock gold, if you can get it I'd get it :) I've just got bog standard, so I'll be somewhere in the distant rows behind you, though rest assured I shall be inspecting your pics later on! Now I've just got to try and figure out what to wear to these theme party thingies...

If I could I'd happily offer audio plays in return - though all I've got is Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Yes Minister, and The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents. If any of those tickle your fancy just let me know!

I think it basically boiled down to 'Don't wave your samurai sword around in public' and 'Please be most excellent to each other' :)

Sadly I don't think it was a euphemism, it was worn by one of the characters so alarmingly the organisers do seem genuinely prepared for an actual samurai blade to make an appearance at some point!
