Well, my good deed for the day if like me you know you're en route to the lower reaches in a handbasket, so to speak. Torchwood fic rec:

Moving In by [livejournal.com profile] ukcalico.
Hot as hell but also so, so wrong on pretty much every level. If you want a prime example of why any Jack/Ianto action before Cyberwoman would have been a really bad idea, this would be one. Poor Jack is completely oblivious as to how he just continues making things so much worse (it's done from his POV). And Ianto really has no-one to blame but himself, but even so it's painful to realise just how much all this is destroying him. The phrase 'train wreck' springs to mind... Definitely not work safe, but most definitely worth a read.

And what a good deed it is...I'm still in a happy place thanks to that fic and the one I read (and reced) over at my journal today. Our fandom is bringing all the good fic the yard *nods*

!

I read that and now I'm suffering the effects of Brilliant Fic Syndrome, which include seizures, blindness and brain leakage. I can't get over how perfectly fucked-up that was. Not to mention hot.

Bless you, child. Once I recover I shall leave some hearty feedback.

Oh, poor Ianto! But dayum that was hot! I do seem to like my men a little broken and disturbed, though. The fictional ones, anyway. ;P
