Dance magic dance!
Apr. 11th, 2008 12:45 pmFor some bizarre reason I have woken up in a really good mood. I honestly don't know why. Even spring-cleaning the lab with various wipes only left me with an urge to whistle. I'm not complaining but the brain chemicals really do defy logic.
Despite Torchwood crushing my soul, the bubble of love is slowly returning. Courtesy of the internets:
x. Dragon*Con 2008 - for those in the USA, it seems that one of the more recent guest announcements was James Marsters. And it seems he's dragging along his TW pal, i.e. Gareth David-Lloyd has also been announced. His first USA con - awww!
x. "The teenage fans seem to empathise with him rather than admire him!" - with the series over I'm gradually going back and catching up on past cast interviews I'd earlier avoided in case of spoilers. This Deathray interview with GDL was short and sweet, plus it's alway good to see how the actor sees their character.
x. "At first it feels a bit odd but you just get used to it... and John's a gentleman." - there was another Q&A for March 2008 over on Gareth's official website. As always it's a mixture of feeling ridiculously fond of the guy whilst simultaneously having several *facepalm* moments. Though if the band do do that cover, it will be the most awesome thing ever, yis =)
ETA: x. Tale of the knight in shining armour - speaking of Barrowman, original post here, there was this lovely tale from back when he was in Anything Goes. Basically you had two pensioners stuck in London trying to find a late night chemist after a bag snatching left one of them without medication. He may be a bit OTT at times for me, but serious hats off to Barrowman for helping them out like he did.
