Oh Hotel Babylon. Unexpectedly, you are my white knight on a shining steed this week, restoring my squee and fandom geekiness to its former, er, squeekitude?

It seems rumours are rife in the DW/TW fandoms. I'm avoiding all speculation and spoilers but I have noticed that all communities (gen, het, slash, celibate) have been posting like crazy of late, running through the full gauntlet of emotions. There's only three episodes left until we crashland at the finale in whatever state RTD sees fit to leave us in. I CANNOT TAKE THE STRESS!! THE SPOILERS ARE EVERYWHERE AND FANDOM SEEMS TO BE EATING ITSELF, HELP MEEEEEEEEE!!!

*ahem*

Or at least that was my state of mind until I saw the trailer for next week's Hotel Babylon. Which, yes, is the episode wherein Barrowman guest stars. As a complete prick of an American director. Just a few snippets of him having his diva moment in the bar, throwing a tantrum on set, before finally chewing up the manager for tanking a $200,000,000 movie. When they say Barrowman was born to play Captain Jack - THEY LIE. THIS was the role he was born to play and I cannot wait =)

In other news, someone please make some decent Ianto icons out of these pics. I mean, it's Ianto happily burying his nose in a huge bouquet of flowers. What more do you want? I like to imagine Gwen sent him the flowers as a follow-up to her thank-you for the wedding dress :)

I love it cause its so random :D There's no logical reason for him to be at work with Gwen's bouquet but he has it and not only does he have it, he's giving it a good sniff before slipping into SRZ BZNZ Ianto mode XD

Exactly! It comes out of nowhere. For some reason the bouquet is right by him on the table and he decides that the half-seconds before deadly seriously briefing on imminent Armageddon is the time to take a few moments to admire them - aww.

Captain's V-Logs. Are those the blogs from the BBC America's Torchwood site? When I last checked they'd been updated for 'Dead Man Walking' but the updates are pretty erratic.

Ianto's just made of such a high ratio of cute that he can't help himself sometimes :D

And no I more meant the videos, they gave John Barrowman a camera earlier in production this season (last season's captain's log was just for shooting the finale) and its him romping around to and from/sometimes on set. Like this one ^_^ Its sort of like a behind-the-scenes thing~

Ah those Vlogs! :) There's been one more posted on the BBC website for Dead Man Walking but that's been it Vlog-wise. There've been other vids of general behind the scenes with actors/costumers/make-up artists up to Something Borrowed. I'm afraid the know-how is beyond me but maybe someone on one of the TW coms would know how to post the most recent Vlog to somewhere like YouTube?

I don't watch Hotel Babylon, but I am so watching it next week for the Barrowman. He must be great as a bitchy diva. You can bet he loved that.

And I LOVE those Ianto caps, LMAO. They're so random, like he was having a private moment with the bouquet and then realised there were people there. XD

My only woe is that Max Beesley's character won't be around to spark off Barrowman, that would've been fun. As is, I'm looking forward to the guest star causing bountiful grief for the new manager! :)

The opening seconds of the 'briefing' had me in stitches. It was whilst waiting for the video-link to go live, someone had just dropped the flowers on the table with 'ooh, these just arrived for you' and he got momentarily distracted. Oh Ianto *pets* :)
