1) Never In Your Wildest Dreams - stir_of_echoes. A/W fic, beautifully written, set Season 2. And if you notice the community it's posted to, you might get why I'm not making much mention of plot here... ;)

2) What You Decide To Be Is What You Are - darling_effect. Wes/Faith. Post-Chosen, brilliant meeting between two people who are both far from blameless and who have far too much history between them. Angsty, in character, and hot. What more could you readers want?

3) The Outcasts - theferretgirl. A WIP, but very fun and often gloriously sweet. There apparently is a world where all the Champions/Heroes are gone. The PTB, realising there's kind of a surplus in this world, snag a few choice individuals and dump them in a land of pirates and water spirits. Needless to say Wesley, Faith, Willow and Spike are a little bewildered at their sudden change of surroundings, but the sense of family that quickly starts to build is a joy to read.

4) 'From LA With Love'. - eloise_bright. Another WIP, and so far an absolute blast. Utterly AU, the catch being that Wes *knows* he's in an AU but for the life of him can't understand how the hell he got there. As far as he's concerned the world has gone mad, but since he's stuck there he has no choice but to try and stumble through a land where everyone is convinced he's 007, licensed to kill... Very amusing, with characters from AtS and BtVS popping up in the most unlikely guises :)

5) And It Was Good. - fox1013, Wes/Lilah, post 5.22. A great read, characterisations of both are wonderful, and it's a joy to see them genuinely enjoying what apparently is, for them, an utterly happy ever after situation.

6) Ice_Vision's Season 6. - at the moment just the one ep, but it's a good read. The only problem is that Angel's initial characterisation is rather weak, but that quickly become unimportant as the plot quickly picks up. On the plus side, Angel always sounds like Angel, and the other characters are written brilliantly. Illyria in particular has a very strong voice. Apparently there's going to be roughly a new ep every month or so, but this episode is worth reading as standalone. It certainly sets things up nicely for a rather fun future.

I now feel the need to write chapter 12. You know, I'm actually stalling, because I'm nervous about chapter 13. Which is silly, but there you are.

Maybe if you write Chapter 12 it will actually help your muse think up ways of tackling Chapter 13?
