tigercheetah posted up a wee snippet from Barroman's autobiography, you know, THAT ONE, the less raunchy variation on the Velvet Goldmine shooting tale:

In one of the early episodes of the second series, Ianto has a meltdown in the Hub one night, for reasons far too complicated to go into here, but if you've seen it, you'll know. I have to admit it's one of my favourite episodes to date. Anyway, while Jack comforts Ianto, he shifts from innocent consolation to a full-on, passionate embrace and kiss.

Gareth and I assumed 'the position' and went for it. The episode's director never called 'cut'. By the time Gareth and I were hitting the two-minute mark, my lips were getting numb and Gareth was getting twitchy.

'You fuckers!' we both yelled in unison, when we finally realized what was going on and pulled apart.

Do I really need to bother with fanfic? So far two of the most clichéd moments have happened. My guilty pleasures filmed. In technicolour. Oh Torchwood :)

I can't say as I blame that director. I'd have done it, too, just to see how far they'd take it.

John's dangly bits are gonna make it onto the DVD extras, eventually. I just know it. ;Þ

Hehe, I say we give the director a medal for services done to fandom :) Fingers crossed it'll make it onto the DVD extras, they must know that nothing gets fans happy to shell out their money that the promise of extra man snoggage.

And yes, John's dangly bits are becoming the stuff of legend one way and another. We do after all have them to thank for that scene between Jack, John and the TW crew in the lab. At some point no doubt they will actually make an appearance =)
