Typically LJ wouldn't let me log on, so painful when you want to squee and there's no-one to share it with.

Anyway I did the washing up, had a shower, and now I'm planning to run back into the sitting room every now and then to catch the best bits of the BBC3 repeat currently on.

At the moment, my main sentiment is... I love Owen. No. Seriously. There was a promo for the whole series after the ep finished, and Owen? Stole the show with one single line :)

ETA: just rewatched the last part of the trailer for the second time. Owen's line is still made of win, but there was also another scene which I didn't properly notice first time that has also happily melted me. Oh I am so so glad my show is back! =)

There was a BBC3 repeat? Damn. Wish I'd known that! We had a power failure just before the show started so I missed it- I've got it downloading but won't be able to watch until tomorrow now. :(

Yep, each week from the looks of it the episode repeats later (11.30pm) over on BBC3 :)

I can't believe how quickly the downloads went up, god bless fandom. Sorry you missed it, but it will at least be there for you tomorrow morning!

Owen was great in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and he looked great in the trailer. I will confess to having coughed up £160 for a digital tv recorder purely so that I would have it before Torchwood started. Its worth its weight in gold! I watched the episode again straight afterwards and must have re-wound the cute Jack/Ianto scene at least twice!

Oh that scene, THAT SCENE *clutches heart*

Loved it so so much. How Jack had actually been thinking of this beforehand, i.e. presumably on The Valient. Then how Ianto was pissed and uncertain but still had no hesitation in saying 'Yes'. And I just adored how understated the whole thing was played, it obviously meant a fair bit to both of them, but most the time they couldn't even look each other in the eye. So so lovely :)

(yes, that is pretty much all I have to say, I LOVED it, I have missed JM so much and I did not know it until watching this. Also, Ianto rocks.)

Oh JM clearly had such a blast doing that. Who doesn't love to get playing an unashamed bad-ass. Although I think his strongest moments were where he got to hint at having something like feelings - Marsters can do the understated emotion very well.

And Ianto... *clutches heart* Of course I adored his scenes. Loved how his and Jack's office scene was played out, understated and awkward and so very male in that they both fail at trying to do proper straight talk for more than a second at a time :)

The show is made of win, if they keep this up they will definitely get a season 3!!

And yes that line from Owen was class :P

I really like the whole gang in this ep and JM was the dude, I kinda feel sorry for him cause clearly there were moments where he was almost channeling Spike but had to hold back.

Can't wait for next week!

I'm still grinning today, all nice and warm and fuzzy from the afterglow :)

It was so good to see them all being a team at last. They still snark and bitch but this time around it's also more clear that they will personally hunt down and take out someone who hurts one of their own.

Initially when JM arrived ("Now I'm thirsty,") I was a little wary that they had just asked for an updated Spike. Which is fine as actually they ahd at least asked for a BtVS Season 1/2 Spike where he really was king of his own castle. But then we did start seeing chinks in the armour, namely when it came to Jack and the accusation that John was still stuck in the past. Which I think he was and by the end part of him did acknowledge that maybe he should try moving on. A morally ambiguous character, not purely evil, but certainly complicated and I am looking foward to his return :)

I, for one, was shocked! I couldn't believe it. I think that line you like so much is the very first time I've ever been able to get behind one of Owen's suggestions. ;Þ

I also did some retarded-baby-seal-clapping when the Tea Boy broke out that stopwatch!

Oh yes, by the end of that ep I fully agree with both John and Owen's suggestions - bring on the TW orgy!

The stopwatch, and bless, it was the expression on his little face as he happily corrected with "Actually it's 9 minutes 38 37 36..." It's the small things in life you treasure :)

And next week, fingers crossed, we get to watch similar all over again, wheee!
