There was something rather warming about being able to get the Sunday papers and see Torchwood all nice and officially stated in B&W as airing on BBC2 this coming Wednesday. In the main all the reviews have been, putting it mildly, positive — for the first ep at least it appears the writers have pulled their socks up, Marsters obviously has a ball and takes the rest of the cast along for the ride, hints from S1 look set to be developed a wee bit (marvel at my self-control) and the cast/writers are hinting that there may actually be some kind of continuity this season. In short, hopes are that the potential spied in S1 will actually be realised this time around.

I would be generally drowning in squee except I'm now past that stage into the time where you go everywhere with extreme caution in case someone/something/an icon/a missing LJ-cut spoils you. Not sure how long this caution will last. From the rumours I've read so far I'll doubt I'll be able to go entirely spoiler-free for the rest of the season, but we'll see :)

I'm right in the middle of a Torchwood marathon and yes series one was flawed. There is still lots to love and I really do.

Nothing will stop me watching BBC2 on Wednesday (well maybe the right kind of doctor).

Hehe, I know what you mean. It may be a slightly cracked, insane, lacking continuity on every level show, but it's my slightly cracked, insane, lacking continuity on every level show and I loves it! =) Even with the flaws, there was so much to love, so much potential, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how it goes in S2 now everyone has found their feet.

The phone will be going off the hook on Wednesday evening just to make sure no-one dares disturbs me, though if a TARDIS does feel like materialising on my front lawn well naturally I wouldn't complain ;)

There doesn't seem to be a Torchwood Declassified, well I can not find it. Any idea if they have made one this year?

I've seen Declassifieds listed for next week - Wednesday and Thursday at 7.50pm on BBC2. So far, though, I've not seen any sign of one for this week's, unless it's the Wednesday one. Thursday's comes straight after the child-friendly, pre-watershed version of this week's ep.

I may indeed need to seek refuge before Wednesday. I could probably try and squee non-stop until Wednesday, but more likely is the scenario is that I'd expire from exhaustion mid-Tuesday :)
