FL, help me
Jan. 9th, 2008 11:21 pmSo I promised myself I would start going spoiler-free-ish once the new series properly started. I've kind of given up on being unspoiled for too much of the first ep, but for the rest...
Apparently there are now synopses for the first 5 eps of series 2. I've noticed from the FL that ep 5 apparently has left a couple of folks rather happy.
So, the question is, for those of you who've read it and know me, is it worth it? Is it really that squee-worthy or am I safe to merely brace myself for the première next week and everything that follows?

Date: 2008-01-09 11:51 pm (UTC)If anything it's the other way round. I don't mind being spoiled about the general gist of the the ep, but I'm worried about stumbling across any specific spoilers that could cause my inner Jack/Ianto fangirl to go into meltdown. Again. Particularly as I'm a paranoid soul and I'd hate to read a spoiler, go into the land of no logic and build all my hopes up, and then have it all pass in a blink of an eye as opposed to some kind of Moulin Rouge-esque epic. Yes I am a very shallow silly fangirl.
So if you could give me the general gist of the ep, leaving out any character specifics, that would be grand?

Date: 2008-01-09 11:54 pm (UTC)Okay, yes, I won't read it! :) Naturally I'm kind of mildly bouncing off the walls that something has been said to get folk's knickers in a twist though. However, I think I'll wait and hopefully just be bowled over when the time comes rather than risk being disappointed. (Which given TW's record so far is highly unlikely, but I'm a paranoid sort who likes to prepare for the worst.)
It is hard loving a show like TW. It comes along, flawed and insane and wonderful, steals our hearts. Then buggers off and vanishes without a trace for A YEAR and then comes back and in the space of a few days completely turns our world upside down =)
