So the jury is still out over T. Hiddleston, but at the very least I am definitely having a resurgence of the Thor love, or at the very least a love of the dysfunctional family tale that for me is the main point of the film. To that end! Have a vid rec:

Shake it Out - gen - a vid all about fathers and sons, and to some extent kings (there are some nice similarities shown between Asgard/Jotunheim and Odin/Laufey). A slow-burning vid but a powerful one when you realise every scene/sequence has been very deliberately put together to tell a particular part of the tale.

Back home the LB clan has formally disbanded, with all the various siblings finally podding off to their various study cities. Till we meet again...

We did manage a final cinema outing before the paths parted, this time to see The Deep Blue Sea. You can tell that it's an adapted play, but I enjoyed it although at times the way it deliberately played as a melodrama did grate a bit (someone please mute that violinist). All the actors just shone in their roles though, Rachel Weisz in particular did a wonderful job. Glad I caught it :)
