Belated wishes of goodwill and peace to one and all, and of course happy 2012 :)
The LB clan have survived another Christmas. This year we attended the local nativity since our village appears to landed a variation of The Vicar of Dibley. He somehow managed to rope adult locals into playing some of the supporting roles, with the result that the play started in the pub (since the landlord was playing the, er, landlord). Yes, we sat there with our half-pints as the adult Angel Gabriel was upbraided for being too portly by a smaller angel, which set the mood for the rest of the piece as we followed the party from pub to square to church to pub again. Definitely put us in festive spirits :)
Anyway, these vids have made me smile over the past week or so.
x. A pre-Thor Loki in 32 seconds of song and dance - clip from a staged version of Cymbeline wherein one of the villains massacres an attempted serenade of the heroine.
x. George Takei is the broker of Star Peace - Takei is awesome. Watch him attempt to unite warring factions of Star Wars/Trek against a new and terrifying threat to sci-fi...
x. 20 minute firework display goes off in 50 seconds - exactly what it says on the tin. Oops?
