Ah, my geekish existence has been a cheerful one for the past few days.
x. Went to see The Syndicate at the theatre which had Sir Ian McKellen as its main star although there were loads of familiar faces (including Cheri Lunghi *squee*). All I can say is Sir Ian is a legend for a reason; he was phenomenal. There was also the added bonus of spotting familiar faces in the audience around us, including one Dame Judi Dench :)
x. Marvel have released a concept art poster for The Avengers which does look pretty damn cool. (GeekSyndicate also have images from the sort-of Avengers trailer which aired at the end of Captain America - although SPOILERS for the CA film itself apparently).
x. A refreshingly serious interview with Bradley James at the recent SDCC; he talks about the future of Arthur and Gwen, and indeed Arthur and Merlin. There is extra entertainment in reading the comments as, bless him, he does seem to have unwittingly peeved some of the more unique corners of fandom. ( Embedded behind here... )
x. Slightly grainy but still very much the first glimpse of the official Merlin series 4 trailer - HUZZAH! (SPOILERS for S4, obviously). ( Embed embed... )
x. Again a little grainy but still far too entertaining: Merlin S4 bloopers. Again SPOILERS for S4. ( Another embed... )
*sigh* Right, and now I suppose I best return to real life and get ready for work tomorrow *raspberry*
