Fannish weekend round-up

In the world of fannish things this weekend has been a good one: I've continued to bask in the SPN S6 finale afterglow, Doctor Who gave me an ace finale, and Bradley gave fandom less than 12 hours notice that he and some of the knights would be playing in a charity football match this afternoon (gosh you would almost think he didn't want us to mob them...)

So from SPN have a vid rec: Phenomena is dead fun (though packed to the gills with SPOILERS for all of S6). Nothing like badass!Cas to warm the cockles. ( Embedding vid here so I can rewatch at leisure... )

Then on to Doctor Who. Non-spoilery: I give it a thumbs up although I'm still not entirely sure what is going on, though to be honest I don't care as I am now utterly smitten with our cast. ( SPOILER-y thoughts behind the cut... )

Back to Merlin and this year the Soccer 6 match was being held up north. This time, for the first time, we got an actual Team Merlin ♥ Yep, Bradley, Tom and Eoin led their team into the tournament. Pictures and reports will be few and far between given that no-one knew about it until pretty much the 11th hour, but there are good covering posts here and here with what pics and tweets can be found. ( Cutting for the results so far... )

And finally what post can be complete without some shameless boy kissing. A while back this still from the play The Pride caused a flutter in Merlin fandom due to a rather uncanny resemblance to Mssrs Morgan and James. Fast forward to today and we get this: ( Don't sit under that apple tree with anyone else but me... )

Another one for the 'the resemblance really is uncanny' folder then, I'm not complaining :)
