Noooo! Make them go away!
Feb. 26th, 2008 07:59 pmNo real news from this neck of the woods. Though I almost hit a badger on the last stretch home last night. Suicidal f**ker decided to throw itself at my bumper, causing me to have one of those endless moments where I realised I could (a) emergency stop - and almost certainly skid and ricochet off said badger into the tree, or (b) go for the safest option and continue forwards and stuff the badger, except that would probably do a hell of a lot of damage to the bumper (my uncle hit a badger once and it broke his radiator).
In the end I opted for the the ever faithful (c), namely swerving towards the badger's tail, hoping it had the common sense to keep running and not double back and that I didn't clip it. I discovered that my wee car does actually handle very well and despite some interesting G-forces as I executed my little wiggle everyone emerged unscathed.
Moral of the story. Yea, though the road may be clear, the night dry and no soul appears to be abroad, do NOT forget that the local wildlife are stupid little twits with no more interest in the highway code than a jellyfish does in toothpicks. *sigh*
Finally. MAKE THE SPOILERS GO AWAY *covers eyes and tries not to look* I am starting to enter the area of TW whereby I am 100% unspoiled. (Small aside: I am highly fond of my FL for cutting anything remotely spoiler-y, you are saving me from myself, so thank you!) Although I did read some early filming reports, the scenes described have by now mostly been aired. BUT THE REPORTS KEEP ON COMING *flails* There are previews for next week's ep, rumours all over the place, and of course filming reports with pictures.
I have picked up that, I think, there is at least one pic of Ianto somewhere in the mix. Do you, FL, have any idea how hard it is for me to see that link and continue scrolling by, DO YOU?!
