Recs please!
May. 6th, 2007 02:32 amA friend's birthday has rolled around and what with her being an ardent slasher, I'm trying to think of some decent books/DVDs that she might enjoy.
Bookwise: The Low Road was great fun, though she also enjoyed Rainbow Boys and the Regeneration trilogy.
DVD-wise: Although she has seen Latter Days, My Beautiful Launderette, Sugar and Swan Lake, her favourite film of them all is still Lilies. Can't say I blame her - gorgeous film *sniffle*
In any case, my initial plan would be to get her one item of shameless smut, and second item with maybe a little bit more plot *ahem. Anyone have any recommendations they can share?
