So there's this fanfic meme going around, which gives me the perfect opportunity to walllow in nostalgia and self-pity as all my fanfic bunnies have been in hibernation for the past couple of months. Oh for a decent Torchwood or Franz bunny - I certainly have the time to spare at the moment *sigh*

A Fish Out of Water [AtS - Liam/Pryce]
The result of my falling in love with the world of Jeeves and Wooster. This AU will forever have a special place in my heart because it combines the two fandoms in a way, and I know that whilst things can get interesting, Angel and Wes and those they care about will never be hurt too badly.

Night's Swift Dragon [AtS - Angel/Wesley]
Again, this is my safe place wherein I rectify certain events of Not Fade Away. It was the result of a happy, silly conversation with Ez about who should come back to save the day with the teapot of doom. The teapot didn't make it into the final draft, but the dragon did.

Things Imperfect [AtS - Angel/Wesley]
Another post-Not Fade Away fic, this time a bit more serious. I have a love of the Wyndam-Pryce family, and Roger in particular needed some fleshing out and some hope because, in AtS, everyone should be capable of deserving a second chance. Of all my fics, this feels the most personal.

Where I'll Be [AtS/Franz Ferdinand - Angel/Wesley]
I love it because it has Angel and Wesley just being normal and happy, whilst I get to also enjoy sharing some of my then newfound Franz adoration. I had far too much fun writing this. One day Wesley might just forgive me.

Seasons [Franz Ferdinand - Alex/Bob Alex/Nick very vaguely implied]
Because these guys were one of my new fandom loves after AtS had ended on me. This fic has a special place in my heart because again it's about beginnings, and it lets each of the lads have their moment in the spotlight.

Have you notice how when you do nothing more strenuous other than put away files all day from 9am - 5pm, by the time you get home you're absolutely knackered? Odd but true *floops*

I'm supposed to be meeting up with some of the beloved FL this weekend - wheee! Kind of. Apparently there's an 80s theme, but bearing in mind that I have been living in mud colours until quite recently, trying to find anything that even fits properly let alone also fitting an 80s style is turning out to be quite tricky. Not to mention I'm still not entirely sure what merits as '80s', all I remember is neon pink shell suits and there is no way you would ever get me in one of those even if I knew where to get one. Still, heigh ho, we'll see what we can do...
