Feb. 25th, 2007 04:29 pmToday I have been taking advantage of unfettered access to the computer and catching up on certain *cough*downloads*cough* and pic spams and vids. Hopefully this should set me up for the rest of the week.
I've also been shameless indulging in some Gareth David-Lloyd contemplation. He did his first Q&A at a con up at Telford, and though rather nervous he apparently survived and held his own just fine. The general consensus seems to be that he's a ridiculously nice and normal guy, awww *smishes* Things learnt include:
* When he was given the part of Ianto, he was told that he wasn't going to be in all the episodes. So GDL assumed he was going to be killed off at some point, but "I guess they liked me" because he's now all set for Season 2. (Huzzah!)
* Barrowman is very clean shaven and if you close your eyes you could be kissing a girl.
* He's heard that there are plans for TW action figures. (Mwhahahahaha...)
And from the FL:
* 'This is Yanto. Yanto Jones.' Small clip of GDL's fleeting role in RTD's Mine All Mine. He plays the blind date of one of the young main male characters. The clip is notable because OMG SO PRETTY, and also because the blind date itself is doomed from the start and both lads are just hysterically awkward. Picspam here - and basically after being bored Yanto ditches said date to go and hang out with three pretty young female blondes.
* 'All my love - CP.' Because like all UK actors, GDL has been on the Bill. This time playing a guy who sent another guy a bunch of flowers. Aww. Though the main point of interest in this was that GDL was sporting a goatee.
*happy sigh* Right, I might go and see if I can catch the last half hour of Primeval...
