LimeWire advice
Nov. 18th, 2006 05:03 pmDespite my repeated statments that I do not want it on our computer, the spawn have yet again downloaded LimeWire. After our last 'puter died, I'm extra paranoid about filesharing. Anyway, I would like to remove it, but
1) Limewire isn't showing up in the program list when you open the 'Add/Remove Programs' window. The LimeWire folder is there in the C drive though. Does this just mean that spawn have unzipped the package but not yet installed it? In otherwords, can I just delete the whole lot?
2) Am I being overly paranoid? Or is LimeWire not actually that bad?
