Despite my repeated statments that I do not want it on our computer, the spawn have yet again downloaded LimeWire. After our last 'puter died, I'm extra paranoid about filesharing. Anyway, I would like to remove it, but

1) Limewire isn't showing up in the program list when you open the 'Add/Remove Programs' window. The LimeWire folder is there in the C drive though. Does this just mean that spawn have unzipped the package but not yet installed it? In otherwords, can I just delete the whole lot?

2) Am I being overly paranoid? Or is LimeWire not actually that bad?

If I were you I'd delete it. I detest Limewire, I think it was responsible for f**king up our computer.

I haven't had any problems with LimeWire but I double-check everything before I download it and then I virus-scan my computer repeatedly once I've finished using it.

As for the Add/Remove thing, it does appear in mine, so I'd assume it hasn't been installed on your computer.
