On the one hand my twisted logic would prefer Portugal to go through as then at least England got beaten by a team that went all the way rather than a team that dropped out. But then again, France has Zidane, and Henry, and va va voom...
In which case... *deep breath* COME ON, FRANCE!!
ETA: Just had another very good reason pointed out to me: Jean-Marie Le Pen (of the National Front) who says France can't identify with their team because it has too many "players of colour" in it. I hope Henry and co. wipe the floor with Portugal.
