Mini!Franz sweetness! (aka SPAM)

It's an old interview from Filter magazine, but it's new to me. The highlight being where all four band members recall the craziest things they got up to as kids. ( 'Look, this is my idiot grandson, look at his hand, it's in a plastic bag. He blew it up with a bullet.' )

Two new Franz songs, yay! I'm quite overflowing with geeker joy at the news. They'll go with the The Fallen when it's released on 27th March.

1. Jeremy Fraser - Nick sings! Recorded last month when they were in the land down under.
2. Lindsey Wells - apparently this has been sung before in Japan, 2004, as part of an impromtu acoustic set after Bob was taken ill. Aww.

And if you get vinyl, there's a new instrumental piece called Brown Onions. Ooh.

In other news, I discovered a leftover HMV voucher from Christmas and treated myself to the album 'Funeral' by Arcade Fire. I highly recommend it to everyone. Unlike Franz, it's not really a sit down and listen to individual songs set. But it is the kind you play in the background and then find every now and then you just stop whatever you're doing to listen to parts of each song. *sigh* Just lovely.

Ooh, and the deadline for tomorrow got set back a week.
