Oct. 18th, 2005 07:53 pmSo I spent most of this afternoon worrying I'd killed the sound on my laptop whilst trying to find a free DVD player. I had a rant all planned and everything. I've scanned, debugged, uninstalled numerous times, before finally trying to see if the headphones worked.
Which they did. In fact, when I unplugged the headphones the rest of the system perked up too, and sound was restored. It could be that I had just found the little volume dial on the side of the machine and turned it up. *sigh*
This is why I should be kept well away from technology.
In more cheery news, I'm off downstairs to watched Love Soup, and then SuperNova. The latter I love because it's funny and silly and has black holes. It also has a young female aussie who, if I could change the accent, I think is pretty much the kind of lass I imagine Minty growing up to be :)
