Looking for a mouse

lonelybritI'm thinking of getting the mother one of those small little dinky mice you plug into your laptop. Can anyone rec me/warn me off any particular brands, or are all mice much of a muchness?
As an aside, yes, I am mildly full of squee over the TW series 2 USA premiere being given a date. Not long now, fingers crossed, before I'll know which day will herald the return of my pretty even if cracked show :)
