This is one of the funniest things I've read recently! It almost makes me want to see the film itself. Head over to cleolinda's LJ and read her Troy In 15 Minutes. It will brighten your day just a little :)


1. Take five books off your bookshelf.
2. Book #1 -- first sentence
3. Book #2 -- last sentence on page fifty
4. Book #3 -- second sentence on page one hundred
5. Book #4 -- next to the last sentence on page one hundred fifty
6. Book #5 -- final sentence of the book
7. Make the five sentences into a paragraph

I woke up in the usual way. Dr Johnson's teasing of the Scots is positively benign by comparison with the crude abuse the English have thrown at the Irish. *sigh* I don't even want to begin trying to make head or tail of that one...

Ooh, I want to read the one with the guy who is lying on his good shoulder, with his hands chained to the headboard. Sounds like my kind of fic.

I'm too tired to even try this meme - sports day today - and choir and committee meetings after and then Time Bomb. Aptly named. Did I miss the first and obviously vital five minutes where Wes and Angel had the big mindwipe confrontation? Hubby turned the vid on a bit late...

And bonkers!Wes reminds me (visually) of mini!Wes , with the sticking up hair at the back. Mm, hot-o-rama! And yay, Gunn's back.

Not really coherent tonight, so very, very tired.

LOL! Don't get your hopes up over 'Shadowmancer'. It's a childrens book, believe it or not, and I was a little underwhelmed by it. However, it does gain post-readage brownie points for having sentences that when read singly could belong to a totally different genre...

Sadly. No. No big confrontation. The first five minutes were Illyria rescuing Gunn. Very easily. And then a scene in Angel's office where Angel is again giving Wes a roasting, this time over Illyria and how she shouldn't be there, they can't trust her, laughing at the idea that she could one day be an asset to the team, etc etc. Throughout all this, Wes looks like he's hardly listening, never making eye contact. And then Illyria turns up with Gunn.

And, hell yes. BorderingInsanity!Wes is very, very pretty... :)
