It's raining it's pouring...

It's getting a wee bit nippy, and I'm watching one of the terrapins sunbathing under his UV lamp. He does this by lying on his belly, stretching his head out and up, and spreading out all his four flippers so they're up in the air. Does make you smile.

I finished HP7 yesterday, and it gets the thumbs up from me. I had two main wishes and one kinda secret one; one of the two main ones was fulfilled, and the secret one surpassed itself in leaving me a happy puddle of angsty trauma.

It seems at JM's latest gig in Cardiff, Eve Myles, GDL and Naoko Mori came along to watch. It always brings a warm fuzzy feeling inside when you see fandoms meeting and being friendly. There are pics, and I have to say Myles is unfairly gorgeous, honestly, no-one should be able to look that good on candid camera. There is also a short vid of GDL singing and I have yet to pluck up the courage to actually watch because... well, it could be fine, but it could also be painful.

The world around me continues to vanish under flood water, but I shall smile through it because tomorrow that other TW guest casting spoiler starts filming, and I can't wait to see the pics =) (Already intrigued by the ones already posted because honest to god, I haven't a clue what it going on but the reports sound fun.)

I wanted serious character development continuing for Draco.

I adore Snape, so was obviously gunning for him getting to do something wonderful.

I also am a sucker for family angst, so was hoping that something would happen regarding Percy's estrangement from the rest of his family - I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted to happen, but did want the issue to be addressed with all due time and attention.

There was also a tiny wish that there'd be at least a mention of Oliver Wood - he was a good Quidditch Captain :)

Do it! See my reply on your last post for the links to the full version and go do it now - speaking as a singer, I would *love* to be able to sing with that kind of... well, go see for yourself. Sad to say, but it must have knocked spots off JM's performance!

Hehe, just went and saw. So utterly not what I was expecting from him. Face as sweet as anything, and voice from a different life entirely. Lovely :)

The terrapins are very adorable - except when they take a snap at you and you find yourself with one dangling with grim determination from your finger. But even then they're kinda sweet :)

It's now gone oddly sunny and cheerful, everyone is looking rather cautious and casting furtive glances at the sky, it's too good to last surely... ;)
